Description:
Alterations and refurbishment to existing protected structure at the centre of Drogheda town. All new greener alternative methods of construction to lower construction carbon footprint. Technology and materials included celestial board, laminate beams, calsitherm climate board, lime render, natural hemp fibre board, natural sheeps wool.
The existing structure was retained, as it’s of particular interest to the architecture of the town. As much of the materials as possible chosen were that of similar appearance and makeup to the existing and historical elements of the building.

St Ultans NS - Cherry Orchard, Dublin

Description:
New build of four large classrooms and attachment rooms consisting of a total floor area of 373sqm. Concrete walls, concrete floor slabs, flat roofs, facade brickwork and teak windows and exterrnal  doors. Included all associated external works to front and rear.

St. Ann's Loreto National School Navan Co.Meath

Description:
Works consisted of the demolition of a school shelter and boundary walls and the construction of four new classrooms and a 2 story extension to a site with limited access. The project included large glazing sections, fibre cement cladding and stone facing. All works completed in February 2014.


Cartown National School Drogheda, Co.Louth

Description:
Construction of phase 1 & 2 of new primary school which included gen-eral classrooms, multipurpose rooms, toilet facilities, cloakrooms & staff offices.
Work also consisted of play & parking areas plus all associated site works and re-roofing.

De La Salle Secondary School Dundalk, Co.Louth

Description:
Construction Works (PH2) - Construction of a new extension to existing school containing 4 number classrooms, a  large science room, technology room, preparation space, chemical store and all ancillary works. Before site works commenced an Archeologists report was undertaken.

Re-Roofing Works (PH1) - Removal and disposal of the existing trocal roof, Asbestos cement Slates, roof Lights and ancillary items. Supply, fit and erect structural steel frame with kingzip cladding to the roof and parapets. A fall arrest system also fitted onto the roof. Replacement of 22 existing roof lights and form of new shafts. All vent pipes were also extended out through the new roof. This job included all associated site works such as landscaping, drainage, electrical and mechanical work.

 

Rampark Ns, Lordship, Dundalk

Description:
Single storey extension to north of school to include 1 classroom, toilet facilities and lobby area (90m2). A second smaller extension to the south of the school was also built to include a resource room(20m2). The works also incuded a new septic tank to serve the new extension and existing school

Work included trussed roof, flat roof, marmoleum flooring, fair faced block work, full mechanical and electrical packages, fitted furniture, decorating, footpaths, ramps, new tarmac play area, grassed areas etc.
