Works included the removal and disposal of Asbestos. There was dry rot and wet rot prevalent on site and all infected timbers needed to be either replaced or treated. The roof had to be stripped and re-slated, replacing damaged slates with same material to blend in. New wooden floors, new double glazed windows - all to match the existing and meet the modern standard with u-values and performance. Removal of all internal and external doors and replacement with new fire rated doors - all were crafted to keep the heritage feel in the building.
