Description:
Construction of a new 1250m2 nursing home for the HSE in the historical campus in St Davnets, Monaghan town.
The project also included the refurbishment of 880m2 of the existing Oriel House which was a protected structure.
The project was constructed in a live hosptial environment which involved close planning for traffic, environmental and h&s in order to ensure the safety and non-disruption of the St Davnets campus.

Emergency Department, Our Ladys Hospital, Navan

Description:
Demolition of old and construction of a new larger state of the art accident and emergency on the same grounds. Block wall construction with a large uPVC flat roof. Very high level of insulation to achieve overall u-value rating of 0.2. Curtain walling and fibre cement cladding to exterior. The interior was finished to a very high level with marmoleum on the floors, skimmed plaster on the walls and suspended grid tiles on the ceiling which gave easy access to the many services running throughout this building.

 

CT Scanner Suite, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda

Description:
New fit-out to existing pharmacy area to form a new CT Scanner suite and supporting rooms totaling approximately 175m2 area.
Complete new M&E strip out and update to suit new use. Services included power, data, emergency lighting, general lighting, fire alarm, nurse call, distribution panels, ups, air handling units, air conditioning, building management system, medical gases, plumbing and heating.
Very tight deadline for the installation of the ct scanner machine - main
room was compelted first as a partial handover (06/12/2019) and we
compelted all the adjoining rooms in the following weeks.

 

The Square Medical & Pure Pharmacy, Market Square, Dundalk

Description:
Alterations and refurbishments to 2 floors of the exisitng Elgee Building in Market Square, Dundalk. The orginal building contained a bank unit and all internal walls, floors, ceilings and services were removed and replaced with new acoustic walls, fire rated partitions, floor vinyl, metal grid ceiling tiles, solid oak linings and doors and fitted furniture.
New services included air con, ventilation, hot and cold water, power, comms data, nurse call, fire alarms, security alarms, cctv, lighting and emergency lighting.

 

St. Oliver's Nursing Home, Dundalk, Co. Louth

Description:
Complete refurbishment of existing building with a total floor area of 4425sqm. Works included were a complete modernisation to current building regulation standards and HSE requirements. Including electrical services, mechanical services, marmoleum flooring, external windows and doors, internal fire doors and fire walls, ramps and outdoor works in compliance with part M and all other associated works.

Raheny Medical, Hilltop Shopping Centre, Raheny, Dublin 5

Description:
Alterations to existng shopping centre unit and new extension including lift and stair access to convert the entire floor area of Hilltop Shopping Centre into a medical centre operated by Centric Heatlh. The project also included a new pharmacy unit by Pure Pharmacy on on of the ground floor units.

 

Our Ladys Hospital, Navan - Surgical Theatres

Description:
Refurbishment and alterations to an existing surgical theatres suite in Our Ladys Hospital, Navan. The project included strip out of all finishes, services, materials and replacement with new curtain walling, plastering, doors, joinery, ips panels, vinyl flooring, grid and mf ceilings.

New services included vacuum, oxygen gas, nitrogen gas, plumbing, lighting, power, data, emergency lighting, fire alarms and also 3nr new surgical units/beds and all service connectios for these units.

 

HSE St. Joseph’s Nursing Home Trim, Co. Meath
