Description:
Construction of a vertical extension to Corby Rock Mill offices in Monaghan town. Two storeys were added above the existing ground floor premises. The remaining adjoining buildings and compound remained in operation throughout construction so health and safety and continued compliance with the factories food grade standards were of the utmost importance.
The construction consisted of a masonry steel structure with Kingspan roof and wall cladding.

 

Moriarty's Super Valu, Skerries

Description:
Extension to the side of an existing and live Super Valu premises in Skerries, County Dublin. The project also included demolition of existing terrace housing and shops.
The building remained live thoughout construction and the boundary of the site and shop continously moved throughout its phases. As a result health and safety and environmental control were of massive importance.
The construction included steel structure, curtain walls & brick exterior.

Mallons Shopping Centre Castleblayney Co.Monaghan

Description:
Demolition of existing derelict buildings and surrounding high walls. Reconstruct new 2 storey shopping centre with apartments on roof level, plus office fit out and all associated site works. The project also included the construction of a new car park and access road.

Blackrock Mixed Build Development Co. Louth

Description:
Demolition of an existing derelict building and construction of a new 3 storey mixed development consisting of pharmacy outlet, medical centre and offices.
Underpinning and piled foundation works were carried out on a confined site with an enclosed back garden, existing buildings on both sides and a busy main street to the front of the site. Full pedestrian traffic was facilitated throughout development period by means of a protected covered hoarding on interface with public road area.

Old Cross Square, Monaghan Town

Description:
The construction was a steel framed structure on deep trench foundations with reinforced concrete floor slabs and concrete block walls. The site contained existing delapidated properties that had to be demolished and disposed of accordingly.
The building was finished to a very high standard, complete with lifts, offices, conference rooms, toilets, reception areas, shops and all associated access.

Ballsgrove Community Centre Drogheda, Co.Louth
